THE CONTENT POWER HOUR
60 minutes. Real execution. Content you can actually use.
By the end of this session, you will have the opportunity to walk away with content you can publish, repurpose, and use to grow your visibility long after the retreat is over.
Â
If 90% of the doctors participating in the Content Power Hour complete the full 3-2-5 Challenge, everyone will unlock access to the EBS Hook Vault.Â
15 plug-and-play hooks designed to help physicians capture attention, educate their audience, build authority, and create content faster.
YOUR GOAL: COMPLETE THE 3–2–5 CHALLENGE
During the Content Power Hour, your goal is to create:
3 Evergreen Authority Videos
2 Strategic Collaboration Videos
5 Reusable B-Roll Clips
STEP 1: PREP YOUR 3 QUESTIONS
Before the session begins, write down 3 questions you want to answer.Â
For each video, you only need three things:
1. The Question
What is the person asking?
2. Your Main Points
What are the 1–3 things they need to understand?
3. The Next Step
What should they do after hearing your answer?
Do not write an entire script.
You already know your work.
The goal is to capture your expertise clearly and naturally.
STEP 2:Â 2 Strategic Collaboration Videos | Doctor Spotlight
Â
Two videos created with another physician.
A collaboration video is a short piece of content created with another physician or expert. It allows you to share useful information with your audience while also introducing each other to new audiences.
For this challenge, your goal is to record 2 collaboration videos with someone in your content group.
How It Works
Choose a doctor whose expertise would be useful or relevant to your audience.
Then record two short videos:
Video 1:
You ask your content partner one useful question, and they answer.
Video 2:
Your content partner asks you one useful question, and you answer.
Have another person in your group record both of you in the frame.
Keep the videos simple, conversational, and focused on one clear idea.
Need Help Choosing a Question?
Try one of these:
- What is one thing you wish more people understood about ___?
- What is the biggest misconception about ___?
- What is one mistake you commonly see people make with ___?
- When should someone consider seeing a ___?
- What should someone know before ___?
- What is one question people should be asking about ___?
Keep It Strategic
The goal is not to collaborate just for the sake of collaborating.
Choose a topic that gives your audience something useful and allows both of you to showcase your expertise naturally.
When the content is posted, tag each other and, where appropriate, use the platform’s collaboration feature so the post can reach both audiences. One can be scheduled for today to spotlight one doctor, and another to spotlight another doctor.
STEP 3:Â 5 B-Roll Clips
What is B-roll?
B-roll is short supporting video footage that can be used alongside your main content. It usually does not require you to speak on camera and can later be paired with text, music, voiceover, or another video.
For this challenge, your goal is to record 5 short B-roll clips, each about 10 - 15 seconds long.
Keep it simple. These do not need to be highly produced.
B-Roll Ideas
You can record yourself:
- Walking down a hallway
- Working on your laptop
- Writing in a notebook
- Opening a door or walking into a room
- Looking at your phone
- Reviewing notes or paperwork
- Having a conversation with another doctor
- Drinking coffee
- Walking outsideÂ
